Discover a whole new world while gliding down the serene waters of the Verde River in your safe, stable and secure "ducky." Located just minutes from Sedona, The Verde is the only ‘Wild & Scenic River’ in Arizona.

The Verde River is an incredible wilderness of spectacular canyons, verdant forests, brightly colored wildflowers and a multitude of wildlife including mule deer, beaver, river otter, great blue herons, red tail hawks and golden and bald eagles. Interspersed with exhilarating chutes and calm floating pools, the Verde is the perfect river experience for folks of ages. Come experience the unparalleled beauty of boating in the high desert!

No experience is necessary for this safe and relaxing float down the gentle waters of the Verde. Your guide will assist you with basic paddling techniques and Sedona Adventure Tours will provide all of the gear you need to make this a truly enjoyable, memorable, and safe adventure.

Single and double boats are available to accommodate families with children and adults of all sizes. Included with your river adventure are snacks and bottled water. Come enjoy the Verde River in trip in a ducky in with Sedona Adventure Tours!

River Trip Sample Itinerary (Verde River water time is approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on weather and river flows)

What to bring: Sunhat, sunscreen, sunglasses, camera in a Ziploc water proof bag (dress appropriately for the weather and time of year)

What we provide: Awesome guide, boats, paddles, PFD, splash pant, all transportation, snacks, beverages.
Sample Itinerary:
8:00 - Check in at Beasley Flats in Camp Verde (map) dress for the river trip.
8:30 - Shuttle departs
8:45 - Arrive at put in safety talk, fitted with PFD,
9:00 - River trip launches
9:15 - Run Clear Creek rapid at the confluence of Clear Creek
9:45 - Your gliding down the Tunnel of Love
10:15 - Floating around Butterfly Bend
10:30 - Running Rocky Rapid
11:00 - Cruising beneath the Cliffs of Insanity
11:30 - Arrive back at Beasley Flats enjoy your snacks & beverage (box lunch if you ordered one)
12:00 - On to your other epic Verde Valley adventures you have planned this day

Tour Time: Check in is one hour before your river trip launch time and is approximately 3 hour, we will be boating about 5 river miles in approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.
